Challenge
The client needed to assess the technical and commercial feasibility of developing a CO₂ and P2X import/export terminal and supporting infrastructure to position the port as a future carbon and P2X logistics hub.
Our contribution
Acted as lead advisor for the technical and commercial feasibility study, assessing market potential, stakeholder interest, technology and infrastructure potential, and infrastructure investment requirements.

- Conducted technology landscape, market and ecosystem research across the carbon and P2X value chain.
- Benchmarked comparable infrastructure and technology developments alongside with their pricing and business models.
- Provided scenario-based recommendations to guide further project decisions.
Outcome
Delivered a comprehensive feasibility study that supported the client’s executive-level decision to move forward with project development discussions and regional decarbonisation partnerships.
